The February 17 Tractor Tuesday auction has a balanced selection of quality machinery. From a restored classic to late model high horsepower tractors, planters, grain carts, construction equipment, and precision technology, this auction covers a lot of ground.
Machinery Pete recently highlighted several of these items during an AgDay appearance, bringing national attention to the lineup.
Here is a closer look at everything selling on February 17.
Four Tractors Leading the Lineup
The tractor offering alone makes this auction worth watching.
The 1980 John Deere 4440 Full Restore stands out immediately. Fully restored and backed by a John Deere Legacy Inspection with service paperwork included, this is the kind of tractor that appeals to both collectors and operators who appreciate a clean, iconic machine done right.
On the modern end of the spectrum, the 2021 Fendt 1042 Vario brings serious horsepower and technology to the table. With low hours, excellent condition, and 95 percent rubber on the front and rear duals, it represents top tier performance for operators wanting late model efficiency.
A dependable 2010 John Deere 7630 is also featured. With 9,200 hours and an overhauled transmission, it offers proven reliability in a comfortable row crop platform. These 2WD tractors are getting serious attention these days.
Rounding out the tractor group is a 2005 Case IH MXM190 with a heavy duty grapple. Rated at 190 horsepower with front wheel assist, it makes a strong loader and chore tractor option.
Two Planters Ready for Spring
With planting season on the horizon, the February 17 sale includes two solid planter options.
The 2013 John Deere DB60 36R20 is a serious machine. With just 1,999 hours, upgraded parallel arm bearings, and an 850 gallon liquid tank, it is built for large acreage efficiency.
Also selling is a 2006 White 8516. Configured as a 16 row 30 inch planter with fertilizer seed tanks, copperhead closing wheels, and spring down pressure, it offers a practical setup for operators looking for dependable performance without the newest price tag.
Grain Handling Covered
Two grain carts are included in the lineup.
A 2013 Brent 1196 grain cart is also selling, equipped with joystick auger control, scale monitor, and adjustable auger height.
The 2000 J&M 620 + 100 BU unit is a one owner cart that has been stored inside, with video available for buyers to review.
Both carts present timely options as operators think ahead to harvest logistics.
Hay, Application, and Construction Equipment
For hay producers, a 1990 Fontaine 48 foot hay trailer is included, rated for 30 round bales with integrated tie downs and a wood deck.
The Yetter Custom 30 foot liquid fertilizer applicator provides a strong option for nutrient management. It is equipped with a Surefire D160 pump, Deere swath controller, and Yetter 2995 Xtreme coulters, giving buyers a capable precision application setup.
Construction needs are addressed with a 1989 Case IH 580K backhoe. With 8,190 hours, strong mechanical condition, and 95 percent tread on front and rear tires, it offers versatility for digging, trenching, and general farm projects.
Precision and GPS Equipment
Precision ag buyers have multiple opportunities in this auction.
A Case IH XCN 2050 display is selling, featuring a Trimble system unlocked to NEXTSWATH with a multi touch screen display. A Trimble TMX 2050 package is also included, unlocked to RTK and GLONASS and equipped with an auto pilot controller and 900 MHz radio AG 25 GPS antenna.
In addition, two Trimble AGGPS NavController II units are available. These plug and play systems correct for roll, pitch, and yaw using six axis solid state internal sensors.
For operators looking to upgrade guidance without upgrading the entire tractor, these lots are worth attention.
