Our April hay and forage equipment auction wrapped up today with strong engagement across the platform and a broad geographic reach. From the time the auction opened, we saw bidders logging in from 24 states as well as Canada. Interest built steadily through the week, with more than 12,000 unique IP addresses visiting the site in the 24 hours leading up to close, and roughly 30,000 unique visitors during the full auction window.
That level of traffic translated into active bidding across much of the lineup. At the same time, the final results were something of a mixed bag. Several pieces performed very well and met or exceeded expectations, while others came in softer than hoped. That kind of spread is not unusual in a market that continues to sort itself out across categories, condition levels, and regional demand.

These results reflect both strong interest in late model, field-ready equipment and the reality that buyers are continuing to be selective.

As always, sellers keep 100% of the winning bid.
Looking Ahead to Late Summer Auctions
While the summer heats up, auctions cool down. We are planning to return to a more consistent auction schedule starting later this summer. Upcoming target dates include August 18, August 25, and September 1. These will be well-timed for harvest-related equipment, and we expect strong demand for combines, hopper bottoms, and other machines heading into the fall season.
If you are considering selling, now is a good time to start planning around those dates.
In the meantime, we may also host select dealership inventory reduction sales. Those will be announced as they come together, so it is worth keeping an eye out.
